The Handstand Project – Day 20

Day 20: I’ve been going to the gym and following a schedule. I have been practicing yoga at home about 2-3 times a week and in studio about 1-2 times a week. Normally, I would track my weight to gauge where I am but because I’ve been toning or building muscle I had to find another way.

I decided to keep track of my fat % based on a home body fat electric current machine. I’m not sure what is a healthy percentage to lose but I’ve been reading about it and it’s interesting. I have two years worth of journals which I’ve often logged my body fat%, BMI, weight and measurements. There was a time (when pescatarian) that my body fat% was really low but I also didn’t have much muscle.

Handstands are getting fun again. So crossing my fingers that there are no injuries. I’ve been working on a regular basis: handstands, back bends and arm balances. Arm balances are kind of my last priority. The back bends should help me with posture issues that I want to correct.
