I get better a tiny bit every day that I practice. If I skip more than a day, I go back several steps and have to start over.

Once the mat is out, I will find tons of things to work on. The flow comes naturally. It’s getting the mat out. Making sure I’m not hungry and definitely not too full. If I have chores to do (dishes, laundry, cleaning), it’s tough to keep the mind quiet. I feel irresponsible.

Yoga is the one thing, I can come back to day in and day out and feel full and like my soul is on fire and free. Yoga is so much more beyond the physical poses. If you need to get to know who you are, practice yoga. All aspects of it, the philosophy, the meditations, the physical. You will learn so much.
