When in Old Towne Orange eat at Gabbi’s

I’m studying for my Real Estate Brokers Exam so my friend and I met up at the Orange Public Library for a 4 (maybe 5) hour study sesh. After, starving and needing to get out of the building, we decided to walk the short couple blocks to eat at Gabbi’s Mexican Kitchen.

Address | 141 South Glassell, Orange, California 92866

House |Mon-Thu & Sun 11am to 10pm | Fri-Sat 11am to 11pm

They serve chips & salsa to every table and their salsa is good. Spicy, perfect for the night.

This was my second time here but it had been years. Before I had tacos and they were delicious but this time, I decided to try something different. Since I’ve had this Mole kick, I decided to get the chicken mole. The dish wasn’t THAT great. It did come with kale chips that were good. I ended up not finishing my food and took it home. I ate the leftovers the next day and it was tasty. So maybe it was the wine or chips & salsa that didn’t help give the dish justice that night. The decor of the restaurant is very nice, the evening was nice and cool. The dishes were quite pricey. The waiter recommended wine to pair with our food and that was tasty also. I took the cork home to add to my wine cork collection.
